The shop

The Shop at the Château des Baux de Provence invites you to continue your journey through the Middle Ages, in the time of knights and fortresses.
           
Here you will find a wide choice of books, postcards, DVDs, ornaments, jewellery, T-shirts and fashion items inspired by themes from the Middle Ages and from Provence. Plus there’s a range of personalised objects for an original souvenir of your visit to the Château. Miniatures, weapons made of wood, scale models for children to re-enact original battle scenes and relive the joys of firing a catapult.
                         
The Château shop is open every day during visiting hours.

At the heart of Les Baux, one of the most beautiful villages in France, pause at Café des Baux for a moment of relaxation and refreshment in this picturesque setting.
                       
Seated on the shady terrace or in dining rooms hung with reproductions of Van Gogh, Gauguin and Cézanne, visitors can savour a delicious salad or crepe provençal.
                  
Café des Baux is open from 1 April to 31 October.

The Château des Baux guarantees visitors a visit as enjoyable as it is exciting.
The Château visit itinerary has been extended and newly signposted. Some 27 explanatory display panels on enamelled lava that blend perfectly into the site décor now offer visitors a bilingual commentary on the historical and geographical aspects of the various structures on the tour as well as on everyday life in the middle ages. 
Using the panoramic tables, visitors can get their geographical bearings at any time during the tour and locate places of interest in the Alpilles from Provence to the Camargue.
