During the first four weekends in September, visitors can discover the techniques used by the craftsmen working for the lords of Les Baux: blacksmiths, potters, stonemasons, luthiers, tanners, and so on. You will also be able to find out how these medieval skills were transmitted to the subsequent generations and evolved over the centuries.

At the same time, the Castle of Les Baux-de-Provence will be focusing on contemporary local craftsmanship via different participants (alternately according to the weekends):

- Basket making
- Artistic Marquetry
- Flower arranging
- Woodturning

- Wool felting
- Ribbon slicing
- Trompe-l’oeil, furniture painting
- Religious tapestry making

- Making stained-glass windows
- The craft of santon making
- Herbalism
- Glass spinning with a blowtorch

To complement these events that focus on art and craftsmanship, painters of the Cour des Arts in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence will paint motifs and demonstrate their many talents. An exhibition of their works will be held in the Salle du Pigeonnier.

Lastly, this journey back in time will be complemented by introductions to firing the trebuchet.
