Saturday 4, Sunday 5 and Monday 6 June

During the Pentecost weekend, from 4 to 6 June, the castle of Baux-de-Provence holds a new programme of family, entertaining, and instructive activities.

Meet the artisans who, through their workshops, will introduce you to the work of stone, fire and wood. On the program: workshops, theatrical plots, demonstration of siege engines.

The Brigands du Mont Paon association will introduce you to the techniques of archery and the work of the blacksmith. You will also be able to understand the importance of money in medieval times thanks to a workshop dedicated to coinage.

Activities Programme
11am – 3.30pm – 5.30pm: history of the crossbow and demonstration of a war machine
10am – 2.30pm – 4.30pm: coinage workshop at the forge
From 10.30am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm: archery for children
From 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm: herbalism and medieval drinks tasting
From 10.30am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm: little knights workshop
11am –  3.30am – 5.30pm: history of the crossbow and demonstration of a war machine
10am – 2.30pm – 4.30pm: coinage workshop at the forge

Special activities are included in the price of the entrance ticket.
