Opening times
The Château des Baux is open every day throughout the year.
Spring: 9 a.m-7.15 p.m / Summer: 9 a.m-8.15 p.m / Autumn: 9.30 a.m-6 p.m / Winter: 10 a.m-5 p.m
Last admission with audio guide: 1 hour before the Château closes.
Catapult shooting: 11 a.m, 1.30 p.m, 3.30 p.m, 5.30 p.m and 6.30 p.m in July and August.
Crossbow shooting: 10 am.-6 p.m.
Medieval duel: noon, 2.30 p.m, 4.30 p.m.
The book and gift shop is open during the Château’s opening hours.
The Café des Baux is open from 1st April to 31 October.

The Château des Baux is located 15 km north-east of Arles and 30 km south of Avignon.
By road: Motorway A7 (exit Avignon), A9 (Nîmes) and A54 (Baux-de-Provence).
Free parking for coaches specially reserved (upon presentation of the reservation slip for the Château tour).
By train: Arles, Aix-en-Provence and Avignon TGV stations.
By plane: Nîmes, Marseille and Avignon airports.
Practical information
Picnic areas are provided within the Château complex.
Only pets in leash are allowed.
