Kandinsky Pioneer of Abstraction
19 May 2021 - 2 January 2022

In spring, echoing the program of the Carrières de Lumières, the Château will offer a free stroll through the life and work of the painter Vassily Kandinsky (1866-1944).

Guardian of modern art, his theoretical writings and pictorial experiments paved the way for abstract art. Through eleven large-format panels mixing photographs and reproductions of works, the exhibition will return to the artistic and intellectual development of this prolific creator.
